SAFARIS & COMBINATIONS: Botswana & Zambia

Why not start your holiday with a luxury safari in Botswana, ending with a trip to the impressive Victoria Falls in Zambia. The Tuli Block is a collection of private farms featuring rocky outcrops making this a unique area to visit. Wildlife includes lion, leopard, elephant, jackal, various antelopes, small mammals and birds. Victoria Falls is one of the natural wonders of the world and is known locally as ‘the smoke that thunders’ (Mosi-oa-Tunya).

Day 1: Transfer to Botswana and Tuli Safari Lodge for 4 nights. 

Days 2-4: Enjoy game drives and bush walks. 

Day 5: A final game drive before transferring Green Palms Guest House in Johannesburg. 

Day 6: Transfer to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight to Livingstone in Zambia.  Transfer to Sussi and Chuma Lodge for 2 nights.   

Day 7: Enjoy a sunset cruise down the Zambezi and a game drive in the national park, as well visiting the falls themselves (included in price). 

Day 8: Transfer to Livingstone for your flight to Johannesburg.

Victoria Falls Notes: 'High water' occurs between February and July, and peaks between March and April: the spray thrown up is dense, drenching and thick with rainbows - a fantastic sight when viewed from the air. The low water period runs between August and January and is at its lowest between November and early December. This is the time when there is very little spray and visitors are able to fully appreciate the geological formation of the falls and the full length and breadth of them. Both times of year are great to visit as during the wet season you can experience the rush of the water but during the dry season you may be able to take a dip right to the very edge of the Falls!

The main lodge building features a spectacular raised bar/lounge deck, open air dining area, swimming pool and lawns sweeping down to the water’s edge.
