The low water period runs between August and January and is at its lowest between November and early December. This is the time when there is very little spray and visitors are able to fully appreciate the geological formation of the falls and the full length and breadth of them. Both times of year are great to visit as during the wet season you can experience the rush of the water but during the dry season you may be able to take a dip right to the very edge of the Falls!
