Itineraries

The itineraries featured are a guide to give you an idea of what you can do but remember that we specialise in tailor-made trips and are happy to discuss your needs so that we can develop your 'ideal' holiday. Individuals: if you would like to join a group we can offer set departure date trips travelling to some of the best dive sites in South Africa and Mozambique. Alternatively we can put an individual trip together for you.

Groups: we can also put together an itinerary for a group of people and, depending on the number of people, offer discounts on group bookings. Ask us to visit your club for a presentation (not a hard-sell about us, but rather an interesting show about the kind of diving and other activities you can experience in Southern Africa).

Diving and non-diving couples / mixed groups: as we tailor your holiday to your individual needs, we can accommodate both divers and non-divers together. Africa has so much to offer and we will be able to organise a trip that satisfies everyone: as well as diving, you can go on safari, dolphin and whale watching trips, snorkelling and ocean safari trips, cultural tours, hiking trails, balloon rides, health spas, sight-seeing, horse-riding trails and much more!

Flights: you can book your own flights or we can arrange them for you. Unless you request otherwise, we will quote flights from London Heathrow to Johannesburg (and beyond) using direct flights as, although it can be cheaper to go indirect (i.e. via Paris, Dubai, Amsterdam, etc.), we feel that the inconvenience is not worth the cost saving however we are happy to re-quote on request.

Visas: British passport holders entering South Africa automatically get a tourist visa on entry at no cost. For Mozambique a visa needs to be obtained prior to entry from the Mozambique Embassy in London (current cost is GB£40). No visa is required for Botswana. A visa is required for Zambia (US$65 included in package to Victoria Falls or obtained prior to entry). Departure tax of US$20 is payable on departure. We will advise if you need to get a visa in advance and help you with the application.

Accommodation: prices quoted are based on sharing a twin/double room, in a variety of accommodation ranging from luxury lodges to small B&B's. We can quote for single occupancy on request. It is worth noting that southern African B&B's are not like their UK counterparts: they are more akin to mini luxury hotels with not a chintz curtain in sight! We can ask the guest house to arrange a packed brunch instead of having a cooked breakfast, especially where early morning starts are needed for diving Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks.

NEW Islands of the Indian Ocean: We have recently added Mauritius, the Seychelles and Zanzibar to our portfolio of countries as it is an ideal place to go if you have a mixed-abilities diving group (beginners and advanced) and children.
