Lianshulu Lodge, Caprivi

Lianshulu Lodge, overlooking the Kwando River, is remotely situated in a private concession in the Caprivi Strip - an elongated appendage to Namibia that is rich in history and wildlife. Lianshulu, one of the first private lodges built inside a Namibian National Park, is beautifully placed beneath a canopy of trees. 10 individually styled, en suite chalets with secluded viewing deck shaded by lush riverine forest. Lodge facilities include: thatched dining area; lounge and bar areas opening onto spacious, split-level wooden decks; 4x4 game viewing, particularly bird life with over 400 species recorded; boat trips and sunset cruises on Kwando River; guided morning walks.

Ongava Lodge, Etosha

Stylish Ongava Lodge is situated along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park in the privately-owned Ongava Game Reserve. From its beautiful vantage point overlooking a waterhole and the plains beyond, one can enjoy a plethora of game that arrives to drink. Its proximity to the National Park makes it the ideal base for exploring Etosha's kaleidoscope of wildlife. 14 en-suite chalets made of rock and thatch. Lodge activities and facilities include:  lounge, bar, dining area; swimming pool; game drives in Etosha National Park and Ongava Game Reserve; nature walks with armed guide (White rhino can be tracked on foot); excursions into Etosha National Park. Ongava Tented Camp, Etosha

Ongava Tented Camp is Etosha National Park's best-kept secret, tucked into a hidden valley at the foot of a dolomite hill in the privately-owned 30 000-ha Ongava Game Reserve. This camp offers private luxury, delicious food and an original African wildlife experience without the crowds. Built of stone, canvas and thatch, 8 Meru-style tents including family tent, all with en-suite facilities, open air showers and private verandas. Camp activities and facilities include: bar and swimming pool overlooking waterhole; game drives in Ongava Game  Reserve and in Etosha National Park; nature walks with an armed guide. No children under 8 years old.

Skeleton Coast Camp, Skeleton Coast

Skeleton Coast Camp lies within the Skeleton Coast National Park and calls to those seeking a remote wilderness experience. With its stark shoreline strewn with bleached whalebones, the Skeleton Coast is well named. It is wild and desolate, a place of harsh beauty that yet sustains life. 6 Meru-style tents with en-suite bathrooms; meals served in the open-air under an old Leadwood tree (weather permitting). Activities include: full-day drives or walks with picnic lunch, or half-day drives or walks returning to camp for lunch and going out again in the afternoon. Other excursions incl. visits to the clay castles of the Hoarusib River, Rocky Point, the roaring dunes, lichen fields, Cape fur seal colonies, Himba villages, birding and shipwrecks. No children under 8 years old.

Damaraland Camp, Namib Desert

Damaraland Camp is a warm, friendly place situated in the Huab River Valley in one of the most pristine wilderness areas in Namibia; as such it offers endless vistas across plains, ancient valleys and soaring inselberg of the Brandberg Mountains. 10 large en suite, adobe-style thatched units that are raised off the ground, each with a walk-in dressing area and large viewing deck. Lodge facilities and activities include: dining area; bar; pool; nature drives, walks and mountain biking to see desert-adapted species such as elephant, gemsbok, springbok. Day excursions to Twyfelfontein rock art, a World Heritage Site. No children under 8 years old.

Kulala Desert Lodge, Sossusvlei

Kulala Desert Lodge has magnificent views of the famous red sand dunes of Sossusvlei, breathtaking mountain scenery and vast open plains. Situated in a private wilderness area bordering the Namib Naukluft Park, there is an abundance of space and silence here.

15 thatched and canvas ‘kulalas’ ("to sleep" in Oshiwambo) with en suite bathrooms and verandas. Each room is built on a wooden platform and has a rooftop deck where guests can sleep under the stars. Lodge facilities and activities include: lounge; bar; dining area; plunge pool; wrap-around veranda overlooking the waterhole; guided nature drives to the spectacular dunes; drives and walks on the private reserve; early morning ballooning (additional cost).

Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp, Sossusvlei

In one of the most remarkable places in the Namib Desert lies Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp, adjacent to the massive Sossusvlei dunes that rise dramatically more than 300 metres above the adjoining plains, and surrounded by ancient volcanic mountains. 8 chalets plus 1 honeymoon chalet, each with a plunge pool on a raised wooden deck. The bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms all have panoramic views of the surrounding plains and dunes, and include mosquito nets, fans and in-room safe. Lodge facilities and activities include: outdoor deck with bar and dining area; stargazing platform; excursions to Sossusvlei Dunes; ballooning safaris (additional cost); nature drives and walks. No children under 8 years old.
