Forest Lodge
Situated a three-hour drive east of the capital, Tana, Vakona lodge lies
in a private reserve just 7km from the spectacular Andasibe-Mantadia
National Park. This table-top rainforest supports a great diversity of
flora and fauna including many different species of lemur. The lodge has

built in traditional Malagasay style, each with a terrace providing
views of the forest. The lodge has a swimming pool and activities
include hiking on forest trails, canoeing and horse-back excursions.

Le Jardin du Roy
Lying to the south-west of the island is the Isalo National Park, a
remarkable landscape of sandstone rock with canyons, waterfalls, pools
and rare vegetation home to a variety of wildlife. Le Jardin du Roy

providing views over the picturesque surrounding landscape.
